Afterschool Art Teacher: East Bay Winter 2026
About The Position
Hiring Lead Educators and Associate Educators for after school Visual Arts classes in Moraga and Menlo Park. Each position is 2-3 hours a week. Contracts are January-March with the opportunity for extension. Moraga [SU], 2:45-4:45 Thursdays, Lead Educator Menlo Park: 2:10-5:10 Wednesdays, Lead Educator Who we are: A-Z Creativity LLC is an arts education organization that specializes in fostering intentional creativity in children through engagement and exploration in the visual arts. Our classes build confidence and inspire children by intentionally teaching material skills and creating an environment that allows for open-ended exploration and problem solving.
Requirements
- Be able to pass a background check & TB test
- Experience working with children
- Ability to lift 35 lbs, stand and walk for 2 hours, bend, kneel, sit, or crouch.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining material bin (stored on-site or at a nearby storage unit indicated by [SU] in the posting)
- Teaching pre-written open-ended visual arts curriculum to children ages 3-4 and/or 5-9, unless otherwise specified.
- Maintaining child safety and classroom management
