After School Program Site Coordinator
About The Position
As an After School Site Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on program operations, staff support, and family communication—while still being actively involved with keiki each afternoon. You’ll use your classroom or after-school experience to create a structured, engaging, and welcoming environment through activities such as: Supporting homework time and guiding structured academic enrichment Leading hands-on STEM projects, arts & crafts, and cooking activities Supervising outdoor play, group games, and sports Helping children transition smoothly from the school day to after-school care Coaching and supporting Group Leaders to ensure consistency and quality Building strong relationships with families, school staff, and partners Maintaining program safety, organization, and positive behavior support
Requirements
- Classroom, after-school, or youth program experience (required)
- Ability to lead, organize, and support a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Passion for creating a structured, safe, and inclusive environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a teacher, instructional aide, paraprofessional, Group Leader, or site lead strongly preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
