About The Position

Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics team to be part of the Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) Interim Contractor Support (ICS) Core Team supporting F-35 Maintenance activities across the full spectrum of Field Operations at various F-35 operating locations both inside the US and internationally. What You Will Be Doing The selected candidate will supervise a team of on-the-job trainers at various locations and ensures the timeliness of curriculum development and lesson plan reviews ensuring all meet/exceed DCMA 8210.1C and applicable service guidance for all variants of the F-35 aircraft. Works directly with Military, Lockheed Martin and foreign partners to ensure all maintenance training is kept up to date in accordance with all applicable directives. The selected candidate will also manage the F-35, F-16, C-130 Quick Reaction Team. Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen
  • Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access
  • Minimum 10 years of F-35 aircraft maintenance operations experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance training experience
  • Direct experience leading a project or team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly and facilitate collaboration among team members and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions
  • The unique ability to develop and execute long-term plans that align with organizational goals, anticipating challenges and opportunities

Nice To Haves

  • F-35 or 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience
  • Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience
  • Understanding of USAF, USN, USAF, NATO fighter Maintenance Practices
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur.
  • Experience leading a diverse workforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience developing and presenting formal briefings and presentations.
  • Experience developing maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Experience developing work schedules and assign tasks.
