About The Position

HII – Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Personnel Recovery (PR)/Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) (PR/CASEVAC) Operations Integrator who is fluent in French to support the United States (U.S.) Africa Command (USAFRICOM). The Operations Integrator will work closely with USAFRICOM, its component commands, CJTF-HOA, SOCAFRICA, and other strategic and operational partners with dedicated PR/CASEVAC capabilities. The Operations responsibilities will include being HII’s liaison for Government personnel at deployed locations and serving as the single point of contact for all deployed aircraft operations inclusive of ground operations, managing HII rotating personnel, and in-and-out processes of contractor personnel, being accountable for all mission planning and reporting, and be the final authority for HII’s approval for mission support. The Operations Manager will work directly with the HII Program Manager to ensure on-time delivery of all tasks and deliverables while remaining compliant to Task Order (TO) scope and approved budget.
This rotational position requires travel to support the USAFRICOM AOR. While in Africa you will work an 84-hour work week. Candidates must be prepared to rotate within 60 days of this job posting.

Requirements

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience managing operations, maintenance, and logistics of deployed aircraft and medical services.
• 5 years of experience managing PR/CASEVAC services.
• Possess current or previous qualifications for weapons.
• Ability to obtain a permit to carry a firearm.
• Must meet medical and dental readiness requirements.
• Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of experience working knowledge of Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA) requirements, DOCPER regulations, and processes within EUCOM / AFRICOM AORs.
• 5 years of experience managing PR/CASEVAC services for SOF within the last eight years.
• A current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
• A thorough understanding of civilian aviation, particularly 14 CFR Part 135 operations.
• Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support USAFRICOM by supervising and directing the daily activities of the deployed contract team to include operations, maintenance, sustainment, and all life support.
• Manage a deployed team of contractor personnel working directly in support of USAFRICOM and SOCAFRICA with 24 hours per day / 7 days per week (24/7) dedicated rotary-wing (RW) and fixed-wing (FW) aircraft, and paramedic-level patient care for PR/CASEVAC services. You will be based in and operating in high-risk countries in the USAFRICOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Provide overall on-site operational leadership and guidance for all contractors assigned to the TO, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance.
• Serve as the HII’s primary point of contact for all TO-related deployed on-site activities and support.
• Manage relationships and expectations of the USAFRICOM client, other industry mission partners, and all supporting contractor personnel.
• Evaluate the progression of project milestones and budget and any necessary TO modifications to ensure mission success, service quality, and schedule/budget compliance.
• Regularly engage with key government stakeholders.
• Responsible for all TO deliverables from developing mission reports to monthly status reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
