As an Inventory Manager, you will supervise all inventory and related transactions to maximize product availability with both onsite and offsite warehouses. You will manage the inventory team members and monitor their performance in compliance with our procedures. You will work on-site at our Mojave, CA facility and Report to the Supply Chain Manager. Responsibilities Manage Mojave and other outside warehouses in compliance with our procedures Develop and implement sound inventory management processes Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts Identify and disposition aged and damaged products Ensure rotation of stock so as not to create problems with expired shelf life Use metrics to analyze important aspects of performance to inventory accuracy Plan and control all inventory and related transactions to maximize product availability Role includes Physical inventory responsibilities Ensures proper people management, team building and engagement responsibilities Responsible to have knowledge of working capital and maintaining critical KPI's such as inventory turns and days on hand, inventory values, etc. Establish correct staffing levels, mentor employees Hold safety meetings as part of normal ongoing employee awareness and growth within PPG Ensure that warehouse inventories are maintained in a saleable condition and recorded Manage warehousing and clerical activities to support the PPG's requirements Analyze activities impacted and communication of results to all users and internal customer teams is expected. Qualifications: Four (4) or more years of experience in inventory management, operations supply chain or similar roles required. Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment required. Direct people management experience required. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or related degree preferred Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. #LI-Onsite The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000, with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 10% of base salary.
