Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Stress Analysis Engineer. In this role, you will perform stress analysis, detail part sizing, and strength assessment of aircraft primary and secondary structure and systems; perform analysis and trade studies to evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight of various structural arrangements and concepts; and perform strength analysis to support and certify new and existing designs by sizing, releasing drawings, and preparing analysis reports. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Microsoft Office and be proficient in problem-solving/analytical ability and use of mathematical skills. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
