About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking Aerodynamics Engineers to join our team in one of the following locations: Berkeley, Hazelwood, or Saint Charles, Missouri . The position encompasses a wide range of execution responsibilities, including aerodynamic design, conceptual aircraft design optimization, aero-performance analysis, aerodynamic database development, and wind tunnel testing in support of Boeing Phantom works or Air Dominance Programs. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience Aerodynamics Engineers including Associate, Experienced and Lead Level. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates. Travel may be required; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Related engineering experience
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Level 4: 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations
  • Wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation
  • Aerodynamic database development from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data
  • Aerodynamic database integration into 6 degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulation tools
  • Flight test planning, execution, and data analysis
  • Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) and analysis of aerodynamic data from wind tunnel, flight test, CFD, and empirical analysis codes
  • Integration of analysis codes and models within a Digital Engineering architecture
