About The Position

AI has changed how people search and consume information, disrupting digital marketing playbooks in the process. To compete, we must now be visible both in traditional search results and in AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews. We're looking for an AEO & SEO Manager to pioneer the new path to success and own Experian Health's B2B AI search strategy. You will blend strategy, technical SEO expertise, leadership and implementation. You'll work with our broader content, product marketing and PR teams to change the type of content we're creating and implement AI engine optimization techniques such as schema markup, passage level optimization, and digital PR. You will shape these new content and optimization strategies using research and data. Your goal: ensure our brand and content is visible and surfaced with positive sentiment in AI-generated answers across platforms, in search engines and in whatever comes next. You will report to the Digital Marketing Director.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SEO and content strategy, with work as both an individual contributor and strategy leader.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience driving revenue from data-driven digital marketing strategies.
  • 1+ years of AI proficiency with a deep understanding of LLMs and prompting.
  • 3+ years of experience turning marketing analytics into actionable recommendations.
  • 3+ years of competency with keyword research and strategic content planning.
  • 3+ years of expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar SEO tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with website development technologies and CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress.

Responsibilities

  • Lead research, strategy, and implementation of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) for Experian Health - also known as GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) or AI search optimization.
  • Increase brand discoverability in generative AI platforms by leveraging on-page and off-page optimization tactics.
  • Design and test AEO-friendly content structures for webpages, blogs, review listings, and new content types.
  • Manage technical AEO and SEO initiatives, including log file analysis, robots directives, schema markup and structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Perform in-depth prompt, platform, and competitor analysis.
  • Implement AI search visibility tracking software to monitor performance and deliver optimization recommendations.
  • Manage strategy, implementation, and reporting for traditional SEO.
  • Guide marketing through the next shifts in consumer behavior caused by agentic AI, ambient AI and future developments.
