About The Position

The Sales Manager will oversee approximately a high growth business in our AEC vertical, leading both new business and renewal functions. Beyond firm-based sales, you’ll also help shape the next phase of our expansion—developing partnerships with trade schools, community colleges, and professional associations to broaden our reach in the AEC education ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven success leading teams to exceed revenue goals in education, technology, or professional services.
  • Strong understanding of the AEC industry or professional education markets.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) and a track record of driving operational discipline and data integrity.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver revenue goals, through execution of new business, renewals, and expanded market reach objectives
  • Identify and develop new sales channels and partnerships—such as trade schools, community colleges, and industry associations.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee Salesforce utilization and data accuracy to ensure clear visibility into pipeline health and forecasting.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics (conversion rates, renewal %, deal velocity, pipeline coverage).
  • Lead weekly pipeline reviews and sales performance sessions to ensure strong funnel management and accountability.
  • Act as a senior relationship leader for key AEC accounts, helping to expand partnerships and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to strengthen brand presence and build new relationships.
  • Provide actionable market insights and customer feedback to influence product strategy and growth priorities.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals focused on both acquisition and renewals.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning that drives results and engagement.
