About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. This role is for a Financial Solutions Advisor within the centralized segment of the Advisor Development Program. The program begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66) through dedicated and personalized classes. Once licensed, trainees will learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial pictures, and guiding clients with advice and solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. Financial Solutions Advisors in the centralized segment are phone-based licensed advisors who provide holistic financial advice and guidance, identifying broader product and service solutions for investment, savings, and liability management. They demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, apply key principles to individual client investment needs, and align Merrill and Bank of America products and services. The program provides necessary training and guidance through a defined path to become a Merrill Financial Advisor, offering opportunities to work with affluent and high net worth clients, identify needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare investment recommendations. Successful FSAs typically progress into the next stage of training and development as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA). The Academy supports participants with dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout their career journey, helping them build a successful career through world-class training, one-on-one coaching, and business knowledge development using a consultative approach.
