About The Position

Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services. The Advisor Development Program offers a path to become a Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) within the centralized segment. This journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) through dedicated classes. Once licensed, trainees learn foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, and guiding clients with financial advice and solutions. As a phone-based licensed advisor, FSAs provide holistic financial advice, identify product and service solutions, demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets, and align Merrill and Bank of America products. The program provides training and guidance to progress into a Merrill Financial Advisor role, working with affluent and high net worth clients, identifying needs, developing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and preparing investment recommendations. Successful FSAs typically progress to Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA). The Academy supports career development with programs, tools, and resources, offering world-class training, one-on-one coaching, and opportunities to grow business knowledge using a consultative approach. The role involves providing end-to-end comprehensive advice, delivering client reviews, recommending strategies, and collaborating with banking and investment partners to meet clients' financial needs.
