About The Position

In this strategic role, you will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant MMIS solutions that impact the performance and regulatory compliance of Medicaid systems. You will be at the forefront of technology integration, driving transformation initiatives while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high standards are met. Your expertise will be essential in architecting AWS cloud infrastructures and ensuring quality assurance, making a significant difference in healthcare IT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in architecture roles with direct MMIS/Medicaid experience.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proven track record in healthcare IT security and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of quality management processes and standards.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred.
  • Quality Management certifications (ISO, Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and modernization of MMIS solutions in alignment with Medicaid regulations.
  • Develop cloud migration strategies leveraging AWS for efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive transformation initiatives and create strategies for modularity and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with state agencies and vendors to align with Medicaid technology goals.
  • Architect and deploy AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for process efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct security audits and implement AWS security best practices.
  • Oversee compliance documentation and operational reporting.
  • Establish quality assurance standards for MMIS solutions.
  • Collect quality data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and compliance reports.
