Iowa Veterans Home service line in Marshalltown in partnership with our IMPACT team in Waterloo, IA Provider will see patients at Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown Support will come from IMPACT provider colleagues, Hospital Medical Director, and clinical staff Full scope of x-ray and laboratory services on-site Additional details by request from group Fully integrated system with clinic and hospital on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Requirements

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Family Practice or Acute Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Average 10-16 patients
  • Monday-Friday schedule; no weekends
  • Current schedule 4-10-hour days with Tuesday off
  • After hours call rotation with IMPACT Waterloo Providers
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Open to change and process improvement
  • Participates in meetings and plays an active role in building a partnership with IVH
  • Connect with each person treating them with courtesy, compassion, empathy, and respect
