Hospitalist available shifts: Rounding: 7A - 7pP Admitter (no rounding): 10A - 7P Team of 6 Physicians and 2 APPs No overnight shifts

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• Experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• No procedures
• Hospitalist is code leader
• Average patient census of 10-15 patients
• Total of 10-15 admissions per day split amongst the team
• Blocked scheduling
