Requirements
- Meet comprehensive and professional standards
- Hold a current, valid Virginia medical license or be eligible
- Possess a valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Nurse Practitioner – Master’s in Nursing, NP License, NP Certification
- Physician Assistant – Master’s Degree, PA License
Responsibilities
- Routine care for acute and chronic conditions
- Annual wellness visits and physical exams
- Management of diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, weight , and other chronic conditions
- Age-appropriate immunizations and vaccines
- Well-woman exams , including birth control counseling
