Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time, Family / Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team at the Riverside Primary Care in Hampton, Virginia. 🌟 Why Join Riverside? Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Virginia Medical License (or eligibility)
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Must meet comprehensive and professional standards
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Prescribe and manage pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
- Collaborate with specialists and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and wellness strategies
- Respond to acute/emergent situations with appropriate interventions
- Advocate for patients’ rights and diverse needs
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
- Mentor and empower other healthcare professionals
- Utilize evidence-based practices to improve quality of care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory documentation and reimbursement protocols
