Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and pass both written and hands-on certifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Willingness to work first, second, or 3x12 (Fri-Sun) shifts post-training

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Background in electrical or electronic theory
  • Prior experience in an aerospace or production environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

  • Learn to build and maintain aerospace components using precision techniques
  • Develop technical skills like torquing, soldering, point-to-point wiring, and reading engineering documents
  • Earn certifications such as IPC 620 – Cable Harness Certification and JSTD Limited Solder
  • Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Participate in a 9-week paid training program (progress contingent on successful completion of each phase)
  • Work 40 hours per week during training
  • Develop technical skills essential to advanced manufacturing and aerospace production
  • Perform precision work on components ranging from 0.002” to 0.25”
  • Apply industry and NASA standards to manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
  • Opportunity to earn multiple certifications fully funded by Lockheed Martin
  • Post-training, contribute to production activities and support full-time operations
