Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and pass both written and hands-on certifications
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Willingness to work first, second, or 3x12 (Fri-Sun) shifts post-training

Nice To Haves

Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Background in electrical or electronic theory
Prior experience in an aerospace or production environment
Demonstrated integrity, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

Learn to build and maintain aerospace components using precision techniques
Develop technical skills like torquing, soldering, point-to-point wiring, and reading engineering documents
Earn certifications such as IPC 620 – Cable Harness Certification and JSTD Limited Solder
Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Participate in a 9-week paid training program (progress contingent on successful completion of each phase)
Work 40 hours per week during training
Develop technical skills essential to advanced manufacturing and aerospace production
Perform precision work on components ranging from 0.002” to 0.25”
Apply industry and NASA standards to manufacturing processes
Collaborate effectively in a team-based environment
Opportunity to earn multiple certifications fully funded by Lockheed Martin
Post-training, contribute to production activities and support full-time operations
