About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH VGGP division is currently seeking a Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This is a hybrid work opportunity. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the following Eaton locations: Southfield MI, Galesburg MI and/or Marshall MI. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible to lead manufacturing process design, planning and execution for advanced new products. This includes process conceptualization, feasibility assessment, and validation.This role will lead capital equipment analysis, vendor selection and development. The manager will plan and monitor manufacturing execution to key timing, cost and quality metrics. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time. What you’ll do:

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum seven (7) years experience in a machining and/or manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing global Fuel Emissions AME team of reports/non-reports

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead the global Fuel Emissions quoting process for new business pursuits and extensions, providing manufacturing inputs, including supporting quote reviews and improvement activities
  • Manage Fuel Emissions product line capacity and capability review process
  • Lead growth capital planning for the Fuel Emissions product line including annual plan development and monthly coordination across Mobility group and supporting plants
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects as the manufacturing engineering lead for early project phases on all new business out of the Reynosa and Tczew plants, while also providing support all other plants through direct report(s) or in-plant manufacturing leaders
  • Lead/Support manufacturing aspects of New Product Development (NPD) using ProLaunch tools, based on region and needed capability
  • Develop and validate manufacturing strategy assumptions for new products including Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL). This covers the development of prototype manufacturing tooling and processes required to prepare for product launch
  • Support product development with manufacturing considerations to new designs, design reviews and design for manufacturing / assembly (DFM/DFA) assessments
  • Manage improvement activities for the general process used by Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) global team including quoting, capacity management, equipment procurement documentation, NPI and ProLaunch deliverables (such as error proofing plan, PFMEA, test plan, etc.)
  • Work with plants to solve challenges associated with processes for existing and new launches
