About The Position

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes for medical devices and components. Support AME engineers in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects. Collect and analyze data to identify areas for efficiency gains and defect reduction. Participate in the creation and review of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and engineering change orders. Conduct time studies and process capability analyses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Production to ensure seamless product introduction. Assist in the evaluation and selection of new manufacturing technologies and equipment. Contribute to problem-solving efforts related to manufacturing challenges.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field).
  • Strong academic record.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
