About The Position

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding full-time Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist. The candidate will carry out regular attending duties within the Division of Cardiology and the section of Advanced Heart Failure/VAD/Transplant, as well as participate in teaching and training of fellows, house staff, and medical students. Expertise and interest in neuromuscular cardiomyopathy would be preferable. Candidate will be superior in all aspects of Cardiology and Advanced heart failure/Transplant cardiology. Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology fellowship programs.
  • Board Certified in Cardiology and subspecialty boarded in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology.
  • An unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.
