About The Position

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding cardiologist who is also ABIM-Board certified in Critical Care medicine. The successful candidate will establish our Critical Care Cardiology section including being responsible for faculty recruitment and development of a new Critical Care Cardiology Fellowship. Candidate will be superior in all aspects of Cardiology and Critical Care medicine, and capable of teaching Cardiology fellows, Internal Medicine residents, and medical students through didactic lectures and participation in various multidisciplinary conferences. The successful candidate will oversee delivery of critical care cardiology on our campus.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program
Board Certified in Internal Medicine with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine

Nice To Haves

Additional board certification in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology will be viewed favorably
