About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to support acute and critical care services on a 7 on / 7 off night schedule. This role is integral to medication safety, clinical decision support, and interdisciplinary collaboration within a fast-paced inpatient environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced hospital pharmacists and new graduates , provided an active Florida Pharmacist license is in place. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong clinical curiosity, comfort with evidence-based resources, and the ability to work independently during overnight operations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Active Florida Pharmacist License (required at time of submission)
• New graduates welcome (hospital experience or residency preferred, not required)
• Strong knowledge of clinical reference tools and evidence-based resources
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and manage competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and therapeutic intent
• Adjust medication dosing and schedules based on patient-specific clinical factors and institutional protocols
• Supervise and validate pharmacy technician workflow to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and verify sterile IV admixtures in compliance with USP 797 standards
• Monitor controlled substances, reconcile narcotic inventories, and ensure DEA compliance
• Support medication-use evaluations, clinical data analysis, and drug monograph development
• Respond to provider consults and deliver timely, evidence-based drug information
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain a patient-centered, quiet healing environment during overnight hours
