About The Position

Responsible for providing parallel collaboration and interaction with the Clinical Applications Leader, Strategic Accounts Leader, Clinical Marketing Leader and Sales/Clinical Field Leaders to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customer accounts.  The Advanced Applications Specialist supports the entire range of Samsung Ultrasound products and services, while leading the customer account clinical planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or other related discipline preferred.
  • 8 years of experience in Clinical Sales preferred; experience with large capital equipment preferred as is business-to-business experience; Must have a documented track record in successful selling and the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers
  • Ability to direct teams and implement successful plans.
  • Experience in working with key opinion leaders at a national level
  • Knowledge and understanding of policies and competitive dynamics in healthcare industry
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a shared services business model to leverage new products for market share growth
  • Ability to communicate with engineers, technical support personnel, doctors, clinicians and health care professionals on issues relating to product performance, and the health care industry generally
  • Experience in 3rd party reporting management
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment.
  • Must be highly motivated, possess leadership skills, and can contribute to the company’s development.
  • Willing to travel internationally and overnight.
  • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory, and background and drug testing (pre- and post-employment) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes productive, professional relationship with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Proactively communicate and update the leadership team in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Collect Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback and effectively communicate with the product team.
  • Assist Clinical Education Leaders in development and mentorship of new CAS team members.
  • Support the development and mentorship of the Clinical Applications Team within region, fostering a collaborative, positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Provide clinical applications support as required for KOLs, large key and strategic customer product demonstrations and installations.
  • Provides clinical management support for ultrasound reporting interfaces and networking.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Analyzes strategic accounts educational needs in ultrasound and plans as well as delvers solutions.
  • Work with the Clinical Leaders to coordinate team schedules and resource planning to support customer visits, and product demonstrations to maintain maximum efficiency of Samsung investments.
  • Maintain all industry certifications.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Supports scientific meetings and trade shows.
