We provide supportive settings in comfortable home environments and ensure that individuals have access to services that are appropriate to their developmental level, and cognitive, emotional, and social abilities. We are looking for caring and compassionate people who want to work in a 4-bed IDD/ASD adult male group home setting. As a Direct Support Professional, you are a teacher - coaching and demonstrating skills to increase individual’s independence, relationship builder - developing positive connections with individuals, their friends and families and their DDS service coordinators, and an environmental manager - monitoring the safety and security of the home and community. Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license required
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
• Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred
