About The Position

EICAP is seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Protective Services Worker to join their team. This role involves investigating reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults and implementing supportive and/or emergency services to reduce or eliminate harm. The position serves older adults (age 60+) and individuals with disabilities across the six-county Planning and Service Area (PSA): Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, and Power counties. It is based in the Pocatello service area and is structured as a remote role, with regular work conducted throughout the communities served. The ideal candidate is a team player who can conduct themselves professionally and cooperatively with clients, co-workers, and other agencies. They must adhere to federal and state rules, regulations, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics, and participate in required professional development and training activities. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services field or law enforcement
  • At least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable adults
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and cooperative manner with clients, co-workers, and other agencies or organizations
  • Adherence to federal and state rules, regulations, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics
  • Participation in required professional development and training activities
  • Ability to pass an Intellicorp SSN Verification and Criminal History Search
  • Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records Check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing
