About The Position

The Creekside School is growing, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced BCBA to support our Adult Program (CAP). This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to supporting individuals on the autism spectrum with moderate to severe needs as they build meaningful, independent lives. At The School, we focus on creating a structured, supportive, and person-centered environment where both participants and staff can thrive. As a BCBA in our Adult Program, you will lead the development and implementation of behavior and skill-building programs that make a real impact. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support adults in developing functional communication, life skills, and social-emotional growth. This role is hands-on, collaborative, and ideal for someone who enjoys both program development and direct team support.

Requirements

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with autism, preferably moderate to severe needs
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles, behavior reduction, and skill acquisition programs
  • Experience with AAC, sensory integration, and functional communication training
  • Comfortable leading teams, training staff, and providing feedback
  • Organized, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in adult programs or transition-aged youth strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior plans (BIPs), functional assessments (FBAs), and support strategies
  • Support adults with autism in building functional life skills, communication, and independence
  • Train, coach, and mentor staff, including leading the 40-hour RBT training program
  • Ensure consistent implementation of behavior supports across the program
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IPP planning and ensure compliance with Title 17, Regional Center, and state regulations
  • Support crisis prevention strategies and ensure safe, least-restrictive interventions
  • Use data to drive decision-making and continuously improve programming
