Our Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) supports individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health challenges by providing structured, evidence-based treatment in a supportive environment. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Adult Mental Health Counselor to join our evening clinical team. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field with completion of a clinically based internship/practicum (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with adults in a mental health treatment setting strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate evening outpatient group therapy sessions for adults, using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based modalities.
  • Conduct clinical assessments (6–8 per week) to determine appropriate level of care and treatment needs.
  • Provide individual therapy to support client progress.
  • Collaborate with clients, families (as appropriate), and the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and review client progress.
  • Complete insurance reviews and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
  • Support program operations and assist with other clinical duties as needed.
