About The Position

As a Best Buy Ads & Marketing Learning Intern, you'll support the ongoing growth of our retail media network and help advance our new ways of operating across the organization. In this role, you will partner closely with our Partner and Category Marketing teams, assist in the evolution of marketing technology processes, and learn how Best Buy activates media solutions that connect brands with customers. This internship will give you exposure to the strategy, operations, and innovation that power Best Buy Ads and help brands thrive in a dynamic retail media ecosystem. This internship will also give you the opportunity to develop industry-related skills in a professional environment, network with Best Buy employees and explore a wide variety of career paths. This internship runs from June to August 2026. This role is on site, which means you would be required to work on site at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You’ll be asked to come into the office 3 days per week. This internship does not have the potential to lead to a full-time opportunity. Housing will not be provided. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Must be participating in Best Buy Teen Tech Center Career Pathways program
  • Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (and the occasional Monday or Friday) between the hours of 8:30am-5pm
  • Must be able to commit to the internship start and end date of 6/15/2026 - 8/9/2026
  • Must be able to commit to being no more than 2 hours driving distance from the Minneapolis Corporate Campus - 7601 Penn Ave South Richfield, MN 55423

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in marketing, advertising, media operations, or retail media networks.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms or marketing tools (e.g., programmatic media, ad operations).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Support partnership workflows across Partner and Category Marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of retail media campaigns.
  • Assist in managing and improving marketing technology processes, including Rapid Ads Suite and Firefly operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional workstreams such as Tiers of Service, Store Takeovers, and Trade Desk Programmatic initiatives.
  • Help gather, organize, and analyze data to support business decisions and optimize media performance.
  • Contribute to documentation, process mapping, and communication materials that enable team alignment and operational efficiency.
