About The Position

We are looking for enthusiastic tour guides to represent Union's academic, cultural, and geographic diversity. Successful candidates are flexible, reliable, and responsive to email. Most importantly, these students are excited to help families explore and choose Union College. At this time, we are only considering trained tour guides or tour guides who will complete their shadows and tour evaluation before June 12. Applications will be reviewed and offers will be made on a rolling basis. We will employ summer break tour guides from June 8 until September 10.

Requirements

• Must be a trained Union College Tour Guide.
• Enthusiastic and excited to help families explore and choose Union College.
• Flexible and reliable.
• Responsive to email.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person tours for Union College, with the possibility of a few virtual opportunities.
• Part-time workers can expect to lead 2-6 tours per week (approximately 3-10 hours per week) based on their availability.
• Full-time workers can expect to lead 5-12 tours per week in addition to staffing the front desk.
• Tour guides will be scheduled for specific shifts that work in your schedule. You do not necessarily need to be available at the same time every week.
