About The Position
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Admissions Team at Center Grove Orchard. Admissions Staff members are responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors, processing point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring a positive and efficient entry process. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment, interacting with people, and contributing to a fun and festive atmosphere, this role is for you! Roles & Responsibilities We cross-train in order to allow staff to seamlessly jump in and assist where needed. You might become an expert in one or two roles, or you might discover that you enjoy many and become a master in them all!
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Flexibility to work, weekdays, weekends and evenings as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to handle working in warm and cold conditions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Understand and follow cash handling expectations
- Strong teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus
Responsibilities
- Process transactions of tickets, feed cups, and/or produce utilizing the point-of-sale system
- Cash handling skills are imperative
- Ensure the Admissions Bins have all the necessary tools for the day
- Assist with filling feed cups
- Answer guest questions about the Farm
- General knowledge of Apple™ devices
- Maintain accurate ticket counts
- Ensure the ticket scanners are fully charged throughout the day
- Ensure the correct stamp information is being utilized each day
- Direct guests through the exit
- Redirect guests who may be attempting to enter through the exit
- Assist with filling and selling feed cups
