About The Position

The Admissions Specialist will verify, review and evaluate application materials for National & Global Education programs in order to determine admission status as well as post acceptance admission file maintenance and updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to set and reset priorities in a fast-paced, multi-task work environment
• Ability to attend to details with a high level of accuracy
• Sensitivity for managing confidential information
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills relating to complicated transcript evaluation
• Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Computer data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in higher education preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all applicant files for admission.
• Have proficient knowledge of all National & Global programs in order to determine student eligibility into individual programs
• Enter all transfer work into student information system
• Coordinate with enrollment areas on application requirements, acceptance issues and current student status
• Prepare student evaluations on all applicants and ensure the continued accuracy of the evaluation throughout the length of the program
• Work with academic advising staff to solve credit transfer questions
