About The Position

We are seeking an Admissions Counselor whose primary responsibility will be to increase overall student enrollment, educate prospective students on the value of Campus, and participate in the college admissions process. This role requires close collaboration with Student Success, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for students by establishing processes, procedures, and customer service standards, and ensuring their effective implementation for all prospective students. We are seeking an Admissions Counselor whose primary responsibility will be to increase overall student enrollment, educate prospective students on the value of Campus, and participate in the college admissions process. This role will be specifically focused on our healthcare program, helping prospective students understand the opportunities and impact of a healthcare education through Campus. The Admissions Counselor will work closely with Student Success and other internal teams to ensure a seamless transition for students by establishing processes, procedures, and customer service standards, and ensuring their effective implementation for all prospective students.

Requirements

  • You have 1 to 2 years of experience in higher education admissions and recruiting
  • You have experience in a KPI/ metric driven environment with a sense of urgency
  • You have a deep understanding of the sales process and the challenges and opportunities it presents
  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • You are proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • You have a passion for ensuring access to higher education

Nice To Haves

  • You are proficient in working within Salesforce or a related CRM system and advanced knowledge of GSuite

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls, emails, SMS, and in-person appointments to potential students who have requested information about Campus programs
  • Own the full-cycle admissions process
  • Evaluate the prospective student's needs, interests, and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help the prospective student make an informed decision on program/course offerings, delivery mode, and school fit
  • Present information accurately and ethically regarding the school, program offerings, structure, accreditation, cost, and benefits specific to the prospective student
  • Generate inquiries from prospective students that convert to enrolled students
  • Share the value of Campus with prospective students
  • Assist in reducing pre-enrollment attrition

  • A compensation package that includes a base salary ($53,000 - $64,000) + equity grant
  • Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.
