The Administrative Assistant job duties include: record keeping, reporting, receiving and applying payments to the correct account, working with pre-paid contracts, answering phones, and various clerical tasks. Customer interaction will be via phone, email and face-to-face. This person will agree to follow COFC’s Credit Policy and work with the Credit Manager to open new accounts, accurately apply payments to current open accounts and collect and apply payments to C.O.D. accounts. This position will also require some General Labor duties such as cleaning inside/outside the office, occasionally unloading grain, assist coworkers and manager with various indoor/outdoor tasks including use of a forklift, filling Anhydrous Ammonia tanks, cleaning grain bins and inventory management, The candidate will be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed during employer busy seasons. It is imperative that the Administrative Assistant maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork and a favorable image of the cooperative.
