About The Position

The Home Care Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and operational success of the agency’s Bremerton location serving Kitsap County. This role combines strong people leadership, business development, operational oversight, and strict adherence to Washington State regulations. The Administrator sets the tone for the office culture, drives performance, ensures compliance, and leads the team in delivering exceptional care to clients. This individual plays a critical role in scaling the business, developing referral relationships, and building a high-performing team of caregivers and office staff.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience (team management, supervision, or operations leadership)
  • Experience in home care, healthcare, or senior care industry
  • Demonstrated track record of success in a previous role (growth, performance, or operational excellence)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with high integrity and accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Business development or sales experience (especially in healthcare or referral-based environments)
  • Experience building and maintaining referral networks
  • Knowledge of Washington State home care regulations
  • Familiarity with systems such as WellSky or similar platforms
  • Experience with billing, reporting, and operational analytics

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop office staff and caregivers
  • Build and maintain a strong, healthy workplace culture
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts
  • Manage team performance, accountability, and professional development
  • Foster clear and consistent communication across all staff levels
  • Develop and maintain referral relationships (hospitals, rehab centers, senior living communities, etc.)
  • Execute local marketing strategies to grow client census
  • Conduct community outreach and networking
  • Participate in intake processes and convert inquiries into active clients
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and market penetration
  • Oversee daily operations of the home care office
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, staffing, and service delivery
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue, margins, and utilization
  • Manage billing, invoicing, and financial reporting processes
  • Ensure high levels of client and family satisfaction
  • Conduct new client assessments and care plan development
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients and families
  • Address and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensure quality of care aligns with agency standards
  • Ensure full compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  • Prepare for and manage audits, surveys, and inspections
  • Implement and enforce agency policies and procedures
