The Administrator, Performance Excellence reports to the Chief Administrative Officer, MUSC Health and is responsible for designing, advancing, and sustaining the clinical enterprise performance management system, called performance excellence. The leader is expected to act as a strategist, integrator, and operator—translating high-level strategy into measurable outcomes, enabling disciplined execution, and cultivating a high-performance culture across the MUSC clinical enterprise. The leader ensures that Key Strategic Objectives and enterprise priorities cascade effectively throughout the organization. This role establishes disciplined accountability structures, embeds standard work, and drives a culture of transparency and consistency in performance management. Key responsibilities include enterprise goal development and alignment, measurement and benchmarking, performance reporting and forecasting, and leadership accountability. The Administrator also directs performance transformation initiatives, ensuring the organization continually adapts, improves, and innovates in service of its mission. Additionally, this leader advances MUSC’s position in external performance recognition programs and national rankings, strengthening the organization’s reputation for excellence and impact.
