About The Position

The primary purpose of this job is to performs a variety of duties supporting Operations and Human Resources with a focus in personnel administration and supply chain functions via the use of enterprise systems. The position is a first point of contact for new hires, plant leadership and HR and requires an on-site presence in order to build strong internal and external partnerships critical for success.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Previous administrative working experience
  • Have a high degree of attention to details with routinely shifting demands.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general office machines operation, MS Office Suite, English, grammar, and basic mathematics.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in interpersonal communication and active engagement with the maintenance team and vendors.
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Be a self-starter and can work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • AS degree preferred
  • Previous HR experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform receptionist and administrative support duties including but not limited to; answer phones, greeting visitors, provide access to vendors and suppliers when needed, distribution of mail and update company bulletin boards.
  • Support all onboarding activities for new hire employee orientation including submitting and maintaining documents for employee files.
  • Support the coordination of company HR programs and events.
  • Coordinate plant meetings, trainings, and other events.  
  • Provide support to labor relations activities including but not limited to; all aspects of the bidding process, facilitate required testing, manage job training matrix (monitor, track and evaluate), monitor and track hourly attendance, track probationary employee eligibility activities and take action on pay changes and vacation eligibility.
  • Serve as the primary support of supply procurement via iProcurement system; coordinate with purchasing and shipping as required, enter PO’s and update changes.
  • Responsible for supporting supply chain duties of creating, releasing and printing batches, create and print inspection cards, create and release work packages to inspection and update batch for outside processing.
  • Create hard peg and run report.
  • Create required reporting; daily backlog, test slice, RR1000, Honeywell and reports and other reports as requested.
  • Saving outside processing documentation.
  • experience, in an industrial, construction, operations, or manufacturing environment.
