Under the supervision of the Unit supervisor, this position performs a wide variety of standardized duties associated with service of process, recording and maintenance of applicable data. This position maintains specialized clerical records and duties requiring advanced knowledge of department and operations of the unit to which assigned. Civil focus: Utilizes C.R.S guidelines to enter, scan and prepare court filed documents; Sets up and coordinates the sales of real estate and personal property per court orders as well as child pick-ups and removals Warrants focus: Maintains control of the CBI terminal, including criminal histories and warrant identification notifications, and responds to inquiries from agencies throughout the country and sections within the Sheriff’s Office. Records focus: Maintains and controls records for the agency, files and sorts documents, and seals/expunges records per court orders; Completes and submits NIBRS (National Incident-Based Reporting System) statistical data; Assists with concealed handgun permit processing; Must be able to obtain Colorado Certified Records Network certification.
