Responsible for filling, retrieving, and maintaining centralized files for the Building Division and ensuring all necessary documents are readily available. Uses off-site storage website for ordering and maintaining files, tracks files sent and received from the off-site storage facility, performs data entry, assist customers in person and over the telephone, calculates and writes up payment receipts, duplicates copies upon request, researches files for staff and customers, creates forms/documents and tracking slips, maintains and updates various databases, and prepares files for annexations. Works with considerable initiative in implementing functions or programs within the Department or Division. Duties require specialized, in-depth knowledge of departmental operations and County rules and regulations. May perform data entry and limited typing, such as form completion.
