About The Position

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Under the guidance of an Administrative Programs Officer, the Administrative Technician plays a vital administrative support role. This position is responsible for managing documents, assigning tasks, responding to emails, and ensuring smooth processing and communication across various departments. The Administrative Technician must be proficient with computer technology, follow detailed instructions, and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.
  • Requirements at this level consist of 24 months of clerical office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities include uploading, organizing, and managing electronic documents within agency systems.
  • Monitoring and assigning work tasks and route documents to the appropriate staff or departments.
  • Managing, monitoring and responding to agency email communications professionally and promptly.
  • Interact professionally with staff, partners, and the public.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and possess the ability to multi-task and accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Maintain records in accordance with regulations and retention policies.
  • Comply with policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Provide general administrative assistance as required.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for computer issues. (ie., login, printer problems, software navigation)
