Major Duties Under general supervision, the Administrative Support Coordinator II provides essential administrative, financial, and operational support to the Africana Studies Department. Responsibilities include managing records, coordinating departmental logistics, and ensuring accurate reporting. This role ensures department compliance, communication, and continuity through consistent tracking, documentation, and procedural accuracy. Maintains all department fiscal and budgetary records. Assists Chair with the Schedule-Of-Classes (SOC) Build, including faculty workload and reassign time. Responsible for creating and maintaining confidential faculty and student files. Responsible for assisting with special projects, coordination of department meetings. Reviews all electronic travel forms for tenured and tenure-track faculty. Performs other duties as assigned.
