Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
  • Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and serve as the liaison for non-compliances, mine inspections and cessation orders.
  • Process non-compliances and cessation orders and enter data into electronic system.
  • Monitor inspection frequency monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Compile correspondence for management and inspection staff within the section.
  • Interpret departmental policy to the public and departmental employees.
  • Resolve minor software issues and Help Desk tickets for the branch.
