About The Position

This temporary position is located at 3200 Atlantic Avenue - Wake County, with Treasurer’s Office. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $24.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed within this vacancy announcement will be used only as management preferences and will be used to screen for the most qualified pool of applicants. The primary purpose of this position is to prepare amortization schedules and promissory notes for the State Revolving Fund borrowings awarded to the Governmental Units and to assist with various administrative tasks as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of amortization schedules and completing promissory notes.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Word, SharePoint dashboards.
  • Review of information for completeness and accuracy.
  • Additional administrative tasks as required.
