About The Position

To provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of our greatest asset – OUR EMPLOYEES. Provide litigation support to staff attorneys representing state agencies, handling Workers’ Compensation claims, this includes but is not limited to drafting settlement agreements and other legal pleadings, summarizing medical records, researching legal issues, file maintenance, scheduling, processing billing invoices, etc. This temporary position is located at 114 W. Edenton St. Raleigh Wake County. This position is assigned to the Department of Justice.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting settlement agreements and other legal pleadings
  • Summarizing medical records
  • Researching legal issues
  • File maintenance
  • Scheduling
  • Processing billing invoices
