About The Position

This temporary position is located in 822 McWhorter Road - Cabarrus County. with the Department of Public Safety. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Management Preferences: The position will perform a variety of administrative tasks with a focus on human resources and office procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • The position is required to set up and maintain internal files for the facility to include assisting with the hiring process, but not limited to, setting up interviews, completing reference checks and timesheets.
  • This position keeps records of employee overtime hours and supports the time administrator.
  • This position handles other HR duties as needed such as LOA requests, etc.
  • Performs miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Reconcilation of procurement card charges for the facility.
