About The Position

This position is responsible for interviewing patient/guardians to accurately collect demographic, financial, and insurance information for the Epic system. Will use Epic’s Real Time Eligibility (RTE) and external portals to confirm health plan coverage and obtain information for authorizations. Will monitor and resolve assigned work queues in Epic and work closely with Central Billing Office staff to prevent billing delays. Responsible for managing a patient’s personal funds to ensure compliance with policies. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to organize and work independently.
  • Working knowledge of health insurance eligibility.
  • Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs.
