Job Summary The Licensing Advisor will provide a high level of support for our customers by receiving, reviewing, filing, and submitting contracts, licenses, applications, and various other types of administrative work. Process contracts and licensing for agent appointments with carriers in a timely manner with accuracy, as well as potentially confirming agent appointments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (required), however a business-related education is preferred (not required)
  • Licensing or contracting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM (onsite test required).
  • Prior administrative or customer service job experience is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Conveys a friendly, positive attitude while always maintaining professionalism. Maintains confidentiality. Effective communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and internet navigation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensing or contracting experience is preferred but not required.
  • Business-related education is preferred (not required)
  • Prior administrative or customer service job experience is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, verify, and update data in internal systems.
  • Ensure completeness and correctness of submitted documents.
  • Maintain records and route documents appropriately.
  • Provide timely and professional customer service.
  • Follow established procedures for document processing and follow-up.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to submitted documents.
  • Process agent contracts, licenses, and commission schedule updates with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Processes updates, changes, and/or additions to contracts, licenses for agent appointments, licensing forms from carriers in system, and commission schedules for and from carriers in system.
  • Additional projects and reports are assigned periodically throughout the year
