Summary: The Administrative Lab Coordinator is responsible for managing operation needs for Neuroscience. To provide support for all of the Neuroscience Department’s various pieces of shared research equipment. This person will work with facilities on space updates or issues. They will be the lead on the space audit and on biannual inventory. They will be processing requests for key and card access, lab safety protocols, and compliance with Traincaster. They will maintain the department’s website with events and other relevant information. They will assist with the annual NSGP recruitment and other events. This position will also provide administrative support to the department manager and department chair as needed. Job Qualifications Education and Experience Associates degree with 2-3 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Job Competencies Ability to effectively organize information – producing spread sheets, generating Google calendars, sending and tracking emails, tracking data. Ability to communicate reliably and effectively. Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively with a diverse group of people, with vastly different skills and training. Excellent interpersonal skills. Careful planning, attention to detail, and reliable execution of assigned responsibilities.
