About The Position

Project Management & Analysis: Support process improvement initiatives, create process flow maps, and conduct market research or business analysis. Operations Support: Assist with patient scheduling, insurance verification, medical billing, and maintaining Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Administrative Assistance: Draft reports, prepare presentations, and assist with correspondence to support departmental goals. Leadership Shadowing: Attend management meetings, participate in high-level planning, and meet with department leaders to observe healthcare leadership. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure records are updated and conform to health regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Data Entry and Management : Accurately inputting and updating information in databases or spreadsheets. Document Preparation : Drafting, formatting, and reviewing documents such as reports, memos, and emails. Scheduling : Assisting with the organization of meetings, appointments, and events. Communication : Handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence professionally. Filing and Organizing : Maintaining a systematic filing system for both digital and physical records. Financial: learn fiscal responsibility but assisting with budgets, forecasting, managing accounts payable/receivable Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of functional area.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and various software programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all members of the health care team.
  • Independent thinking and decision-making ability.
  • Desire to explore data.
  • Act 34-PA Criminal Record Check from the PA State Police system
