We are now going to the market under one bold new brand, Echo Electric. We have a great opportunity for a Fleet Coordinator to join our Transportation team! The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the oversight of all aspects of the day-to-day administration related to our vehicle fleet to ensure it operates efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. This role is important for assisting with the coordination of delivery trucks, and service vehicles used to move products between warehouses and branches, and most importantly, to our customers. Position can report from an Echo Branch location in St. Louis, Missouri or Colombus, Ohio.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in fleet and transportation coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and DOT compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Eclipse) and routing tools (e.g., Innovo, Lytx).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of Echo Electric's vehicle fleet.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, and performance.
  • Track preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Use fleet management software (e.g., Lytx) to monitor vehicle health, driver behavior, and route efficiency.
  • Assist with oversight of fuel card programs (e.g., WEX) and monitor fuel usage.
  • Maintain vehicle registration, insurance, inspection, and compliance records.
  • Ensure adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and local transportation regulations (e.g., driver files).
  • Coordinating DOT digital driver file information.
  • Track driver certifications and ensure compliance with safety training (e.g., PIT, defensive driving).
  • Assist in maintaining fleet management software (e.g., Fleetio).
  • Work closely with Transportation Manager, Warehouse, and Safety teams.
  • Support Logistics Coordinator and routing teams with vehicle availability.
  • Assist HR and OpCo branches with driver onboarding and training.
