About The Position

The Administrative Staff Specialist provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of medical and clinical office activities. This position supports providers, nurses, and management staff by coordinating administrative processes, managing documentation, handling scheduling, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to jump in where needed and learn a new system quickly (eCW)
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office setting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, EHR/EMR systems, and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
